On August 13-14, 2015, hosted by CSRC faculty members, scientists from Chinese University of Hong Kong, City university of Hong Kong, University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, CAS visited CSRC and participated in HK-CSRC Forum.

The forum focuses on exploring long-term collaborations between CSRC and Hong Kong sciences. Professors from various fields including physics, chemistry, mathematics, mechanics, and materials on both sides gave talks to introduce their research work and exchanged with each other on the focusing scientific topics. Further collaborations will be taken in more specific forms of personnel/information exchange, joint research projects, joint postdoctoral fellows supervising, etc.
